Microcone Voices for Skype
Microcone® Voices (Mac OS X, Windows) is a simple app that shows you who is talking around a Microcone when it is used on a Skype call. If you have a Microcone, ask your contacts to download the app too, so that they can see who is talking around the table when you use Skype for your conference calls.
Installation
1. DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL MICROCONE VOICES
Click on the remote icon in the toolbar of Microcone Recorder on your Mac. Make sure the check box is enabled, and type in a Connection Code.

2. CONFIGURE SKYPE
For Microcone Device users only.
Set Microcone as the default microphone device in Skype's Preferences. If you haven't previously installed the Microcone Driver, you must download and install that first.

How it Works
1. RUN MICROCONE VOICES
Run Microcone Voices from Applications on Mac, or Start Menu in Windows.
Also ensure you have Skype running.
The first time, Skype will ask you to confirm that you allow Microcone Voices to connect.
If you are logged in to Skype, your username will show in the Microcone Voices window.
If you have a Microcone connected, you will also see a top-down view of the 6 directional channels. Otherwise, only the username row will appear.
2. MAKE A SKYPE CALL
Just make your Skype calls as usual. Microcone Voices will automatically detect when you are on a call.

3. KNOW WHO IS TALKING
If you have a Microcone connected, type in the names of people corresponding to the different directions around the table.
As people speak, their direction will light up automatically.
Other users on the call who also have Microcone Voices running will also be able to see the names around your table with the directions lighting up as each person talks.
During the call, you can control the relative volumes of people around your Microcone using the Microcone Console app (installed with Microcone driver).
4. SHARE THE APP
Click on the Share toolbar button to send a link to this web page to the other people on your Skype call. This link will appear in their Skype chat window.
They can then download the app for free and see who is talking around your Microcone.
