Control the Microcone Recorder Mac app remotely from your iPhone

Microcone^® Remote (iOS 4.3+) is a companion iPhone app that gives you the freedom to control the Microcone Recorder Mac app from your iPhone during recording. It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Step 1: Enable Microcone Remote connections

Click on the remote icon in the toolbar of Microcone Recorder on your Mac. Make sure the check box is enabled, and type in a Connection Code.

Step 2: Setup a new meeting

Click on the Record button in Microcone Recorder to setup a new meeting recording. At that point, the meeting should appear in the list on the Meetings tab of Microcone Remote. Click on it and enter in the Connection Code when prompted. If your meeting does not appear, try hitting the Refresh button.

Step 3: Record your meeting and tag highlights

At this point, you may start recording either from the Mac or iPhone app. Use the four tagging buttons to mark highlights during the meeting as being Important, Actions, Decisions or Questions. When your meeting is over, you may stop recording either from the Mac or iPhone app.

Note, for all buttons in Microcone Remote, your Mac will beep to give you confidence that the remote control commands have been received.
