With Microcone Recorder, individuals within the group are distinguished based on their location and particular vocal characteristics. The software records each person to their own individual audio channel, along with data showing the start and end times of each of their utterances. Once individuals have been recorded and named within a database, a voice recognition feature can automatically identify them in future conversations.
Depending on the required accuracy, transcription is facilitated using either a time-saving data entry interface or an automated speech-to-text service. The software allows users to search the audio recordings by conversation date, individual participant names or keywords.
